Spatial Organisation and Living Areas
An open plan living room dining area and kitchen are anchored by a central stone fireplace element. Sliding doors connect these rooms to covered terraces and a wraparound timber deck that overlooks indigenous planting. A protected entrance court leads to a double volume stair hall which brings daylight to the centre of the house and establishes orientation across both levels.
Material and Detailing
Finishes combine timber decking, framed glazing and carefully proportioned masonry to achieve continuity from interior to exterior. The main suite integrates bedroom, bathroom and dressing areas with built in storage and controlled privacy. Services and environmental control are addressed through deep eaves, cross ventilation and shaded outdoor rooms.
