Light, Volume and Craft
Double volume spaces with expressed timber trusses establish calm proportion. Bespoke joinery and timber screens organise the plan from kitchen to lounge to terrace. Large sliding panels open the social areas to the veranda, and natural finishes provide continuity across rooms. For related interiors, see our work in Southern Cape Interior Design.
Heritage Reinterpreted for Modern Living
A loft study sits beneath the roof structure with slim framed doors and garden outlooks. On the ground floor, integrated cabinetry, a linear fireplace and covered terraces update the historic language while respecting scale and materiality. Environmental control is addressed through deep overhangs and pergolas, supporting comfort and longevity within this example of Fancourt architectural renovation.
