The brief guided a measured arrangement of spaces around views and garden edges, with careful attention to daylight, privacy and movement. The work contributes to contemporary fancourt architecture through a restrained palette and a clear spatial hierarchy.

House 3679 is a private residence within Fancourt Golf Estate in George, South Africa. The brief guided a measured arrangement of spaces around views and garden edges, with careful attention to daylight, privacy and movement. Central Staircase and Circulation
A central staircase establishes the primary order of the house. It connects two levels with a direct route while allowing light to pass between floors. Timber treads, glass balustrades and vertical screening define thresholds without closing rooms, supporting legibility from arrival to the upper suites and study areas.
Open Plan Living and Outdoor Connection
The ground level is organised as an expansive open plan environment that links kitchen, dining and lounge to covered terraces and a pool court.
